As the local Academy Advisory Committee (local governors), we strive to ensure that the school serves its community by providing education of the highest quality in a supportive atmosphere based on the academy’s Christian vision, values and ethos.
We, as Academy Committee Members, are volunteers from the community appointed jointly by the Salisbury Diocesan Board of Education and Trust Board of Ambitions Academies Trust. Our experience is drawn from all walks of life and we aim to provide grounded support and challenge.
We meet regularly during the term to support the academy in continuing to raise standards of achievement for all our pupils. Working together with the academy, we challenge and monitor development priorities in partnership with the Principal and other staff to support our school on its improvement journey in bringing ‘outstanding achievement for all’.
There is a Link Trustee assigned to our Academy Advisory Committee ensuring communication and accountability is fed back to the Trust Board directly as set out in the AAT Scheme of Delegation. This scheme can be found on the Ambitions Academies Trust website as well as All Saints website.
