Domestic abuse is clearly defined as an incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are or have been intimate partners or family members regardless of gender or sexuality.

SafeLives website is a dedicated online platform working towards ending domestic abuse. It works with survivors to help tailor support for victims of domestic abuse by providing information on staying safe from domestic violence and abuse especially during COVID-19 pandemic.
