Dear Parents and Carers
A brief round up of key events from the week!
1) Covid 19
We have had our first confirmed case today. It is very important that all parents read the letters I have sent round today.
Year 10 will be able to return on Monday 30th November as long as they are symptom free.
If Year 10 students are eligible for Free School Meals and you would like to collect a packed lunch, please email office@allsaints-academy.co.uk.
If ANY student in ANY year group has symptoms or a positive test, PLEASE contact us immediately and we will support you.
Thank you to all parents who have worked with us today to take the appropriate action.
2) Year 10 Parents Evening
This is live and slots can be booked for next week on School Cloud.
We have the systems in place to respond to the current situation and we are looking forward to seeing you for parents evening tonight.
3) Year 9 Options
Thank you to all Year 9 students for taking part in the Options Assembly this week. Parents, should you wish to see the information shared, it can be found here:

The next part of the process will be the options marketplace, an initial survey and the online evening after Christmas.
4) Year 11 Mocks
I have written directly to Year 11 parents about these – well done, everyone – please keep working hard but keep things in proportion in a tough year for everyone.
5) Playground Surfaces
I have had a meeting confirming today that these will start being repaired before Christmas. It will be an exciting project to vastly improve students’ outdoor spaces!
Next week… looks to be a busy one also… we have our FASA (PTFA) Annual General Meeting, our online safety evening, Year 10 Parents Evening and our new Vice Principal, Mr Purkis, will be visiting on Friday before starting on Monday 30th November. Please do welcome him warmly to the school.
Over and out for now – remember, we are in lockdown, so please stay safe and remember Hands Face Space!
